This is a really "iffy" thing. A technician will have to physically pull the hard drive out of the Time Capsule and then open up the hard drive to see if the disk can be transferred to another device so the data can be copied off the disk.
There are never any guarantees on this type of thing, and the user pays the full price regardless of the results. It's really expensive.....I would expect $1,000 or more.

It's really unfortunate that Apple does not provide much in the way of useful information regarding the "internal disk needs repair" message.
The sad fact is that the Time Capsule hard drive cannot be repaired.....unless.....it is physically removed from the Time Capsule.....so that it can be evaluated by a repair technician. This is a difficult and expensive proposition. In most cases, repairs......if they are even possible.....would cost significantly more than the cost of simply replacing the old hard drive with a new hard drive.
If your Time Capsule is 5+ years old though, the internal power supply is about due to fail as well. Replacing the hard drive and replacing the power supply would not really make much sense on an older product. If this is the case, it's probably time to recycle the old Time Capsule and call it a day.
Do you know about how old the Time Capsule might be?
Thank you for your reply , yes I believe bought it in 2013. Does that mean there is not a way to get the files off of it
Thank you bob , I wont be spending that kind of money . I guess this was not a wise purchase if you cant access your storage :-)
