New IPhone 12 Pro MAX TROUBLE WITH DOWNLOADING APPS

With my new phone, my apps did get transferred from old IPhone 7 (2nd try worked) but all my apps are asking for an old Apple ID password. I don't use that Apple ID. How to I tell my new phone that I need to use my current Apple ID?

Any app that was downloaded with the old Apple ID is locked to that Apple ID. You will either have to recover that or delete the app and download it again with the new Apple ID.
