My husband’s iPhone received a message from ‘Apple Security’ stating he has a Trojan Virus and has lost 17% of data and needs to download a security app. What do we do?

It is a scam, a phishing attempt to try and get your account information. Ignore and delete the message. Apple does not send out messages like that.
