Sidecar not working between my two devices.

Sidecar is not working. I have the 2019 MacBook Pro and the 2019 iPad Pro. they are both up to date with the latest software. I am not sure why it is not connecting. I have been able to connect them via bluetooth however, it does not solve the issue.

Help...

That would be great if it allowed me those options.

Which “options” from the suggested paragraph above might we be talking about?

  • Seeing if both devices are signed in to iCloud?
  • Checking two-factor authentication?
  • Checking the iPad cellular connection?
  • Checking the Mac internet connection?
  • Checking the trust relation?

Please don’t get me wrong, I am not being disrespectful in anyway. I have a bit of frustration. All of the issues that you’ve missed it out are correct.

  • Seeing if both devices are signed in to iCloud? Yes
  • Checking two-factor authentication? Yes
  • Checking the iPad cellular connection?connected
  • Checking the Mac internet connection?connected
  • Checking the trust relation?

confirmed.

It does not show my iPad despite being connected to the same user ID and the same Wi-Fi. Sidecar does not allow me an option to switch it on. End it does not show the sidecar symbol in the tongue bar on my Mac.
