Keyboard and Trackpad not working

After new installation both keyboard and trackpad work for a little while. I do notice sometimes the trackpad does not click/push down. But after an hour or so both keyboard and trackpad stop working. Not light under the keys and only the on/off switch operationals. Again formatted disk/partitioned and reinstalled - same story. What can I do?

When both the Keyboard & Trackpad stop working at the same time on the 2015 MBPro the cause is usually a defective Trackpad Cable. This cable becomes worn out after several years of use due to the case rubbing against the cable. Sometimes rebooting will help for a little while in some cases. There have been a few times where the Trackpad or Logic Board were the cause of the failure in our organization's 2015 MBPros, but this has been rare.
