HomePod not updating

Home is stuck with a notification that my HomePod has an update. But when I tap into it to tell it to do that, it just days it updates automatically... but it's never done that. Help!

Try disabling automatic updates.

Close the Home App.

Restart your iOS device

Reboot your wifi modem - wait a few minutes until you’re back online

launch the Home App again, then try it manually
