I'm having issues with importing only NEW pictures taken with my iphone 12Pro Max to my Mac desktop. The older one's taken will import fine (from data transfer to this new phone). My Mac is a Mac Pro (mid 2010) running OS High Sierra 10.13.1 Like I've stated only new picture won't import, states: Unable to read metadata. The file may be corrupt. With fingers crossed hoping it's a camera setting fix.

Some photos taken today on my iPhone 12 Pro Max will not upload to a desktop iMac using Photos. They look like the attached image. Does anyone know why this happens? Thanks for any suggestions.
Oh, I just did a screen shot of an image of a non importable new photo. I could import the screen shot image of the photo. hmm
