Yes. Give a long press on the TV button on the remote to bring up the user switch and AirPlay menu. Tap on Apple TV. From there you should be able to select your HomePods.

The Siri button on the TV remote should also respond to something like "Play on HomePod" and "Stop playing on HomePod".
