Safari can't load certain websites - occasionally

Hi, I'm a UK user and recently started having issues with 2 websites, in particular. bcc.co.uk and amazon.co.uk. When trying to open they wait then finally timeout. This happens more often than not but not all the time. Time of day does not seem to be a problem. All other sites are fine. I've tried the same on Chrome and they're fine. I've seen reference to DNS and the way Safari operates as being a potential issue but didn't want to go down that route if possible. I've cleared cache using the developer option. We have, however, recently changed broadband provider moving from Sky to Plusnet fibre. I've just upgraded to Big Sur 11.1 but the problem predates this.

Any help appreciated.
