iPhone is not recognized by iTunes on Windows or Finder on MacOS.

My iPhone X has been stuck in a boot loop for almost a whole day now. I've managed to put it in recovery mode but when I connect it to my MacBook it doesn't show up in Finder. I've tried to connect it to my Windows laptop with iTunes but this doesn't seem to be working either. Any advice?

iPhone X, iOS 14
