why does it say my storage if full after i bought more storage

iCloud Storage does not extend what you have on iPhone.

Do you Mean iCloud Storage?:

If you are officially referring to an increase of iCloud storage capacity not showing up as intended(rather than that of your iPhone's builtin storage), then verify this using another device. Using a computer may be more user-friendly. If it is inconsistent, and is not showing up as it should, it probably needs time to resync on your iPhone.
