I believe you have taken what Apple calls "Live" Photos!

Take and edit Live Photos - Apple Support

You can also edit/convert Live Photos into Still Photos ... To do so read & follow these:

and/or

Top 2 Ways to Convert Live Photos to Still Photos on iPhone - tenorshare.com (I prefer the Duplicate Photo method explained here!)
