Yes. Siri on HomePod is able to access your unhidden purchase history, or your iCloud Music Library if you have a subscription to Apple Music or iTunes Match. You can also AirPlay from your computer or iOS devices.

No. Bluetooth is required during setup and handoff, but music playback is AirPlay over Wi-Fi. HomePod is not a conventional Bluetooth speaker.
