I have upgraded my Apple watch from Series 3 to Series 6. What do I need to do to start using my new watch? Sorry if its a stupid questions, but I can book a session with Apple support as none available

Good question. If you followed the instructions listed step-by-step, you will be offered in Step 4 to reinstall from a Backup.
