HomeKit Hub Extender

I have multiple Apple devices in different rooms that can act as a HomeKit Hub. One of my Apple devices is designated as the the HomeKit Hub, the other devices are on standby.

My Question is: Do any of these other Apple devices act as a HomeKit extender such as another Apple TV in another room?

They will all work with HomeKit.

HomePod, HomePod mini, Apple TV, or iPad can all be used as a home hub. It doesn’t matter which one says “connected”. Additionally you can use an iPhone or Apple Watch to execute commands even though these devices don’t act as Hubs. So long as they’re all signed in with the same Apple ID.
