How do I get the apple fitness app onto my iPad?

I have signed up to apple fitness +, and would like the app on my iPad. How do I do this. I’ve tried to get it from the App Store it says not compatible, however, the app itself says it’s compatible with my device. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thx

You need more that just the app.

Your iPad needs to be updated to the latest iPadOS 14.3

You need a compatible Apple Watch ( series 3 or later ) updated to its latest WatchOS version and, also, Bluetooth connected to your iPad before the iOS App Store will let you download/install the Apple Fitness+.

You need to have or purchase an Apple Watch series 3, or later

No options.
