iPhone 12

I have a iPhone 12 it only come with a Lightning-to-USB-C cable... do I have to use this cable with a USB-C adapter or can I carry on using my old iPhone 7 adapter and old charger cable? Thanks

You may use your iPhone 7 adapter and cable. Note the charge rate will be slower than it would with newer gear.

Okay so using my iPhone 7 charger adapter and cable will not effect my iPhone 12 and mess it up?

I don’t have to use the new cable I got in the box with a new adapter?

correct, it will not mess up your phone.. and you don't have to use the new cable

as sberman commented, it just won't charge as fast.
