Which one is faster, iphone fast charger or an ipad charger to charge the ipad and will it cause any damage if i use my iphone fast charger to charge ipad?

If the both use an 18W/20W USB-C power/charging adapter block with a USB-C cable, it makes little difference.

No iOS device damage will come to using any Apple or Apple certified power/charging block of any wattage.

These devices all have circuitry in them that allows these devices to take as much of the rated adapter wattage that it needs to charge.

All your iOS/iPadOS devices will be fine.
