new power supply neede

Hello. My MacBook air (13" 2017) needs a new power supply.

the original one was a T-shaped, 45W, but alas -

I can only find

T shaped 60W

or

L shaped 45W..

which one should I get? which is more important to keep - the shape or the wattage?

Thanks.

You can use any shape that fits, and any wattage equal to or greater than 45W will work fine. The important part is that you need a MagSafe 2 connector. The original MagSafe won't fit.

Thanks John, I saw this page but didn't find the answer there. I know which power supply came with my device. Obviously if I could I would "use your computer's original adapter or a newer adapter" , but I can't seem to find something identical. Hence my question - should I insist on the T-plug (and get a 60W) or insist on the 45W (and get the older, L-plug).

Thanks again.
