older mac os

i have an iMac 21.5 inch, late 2013, running Mac OS Sierra 10.12.6

i cannot upgrade to Sierra...which update should I install?

The Late 2013 iMac can be upgraded to macOS High Sierra, Mojave or Catalina.

Going straight from Sierra to Catalina would be a considerable shock to both you and the iMac.


Personally I would backup and go for High Sierra, then move unto Mojave or the more challenging Catalina....
