Any idea what type of app? How I might find it? I’ve just been deleting all the apps I don’t use.

You are quite welcome. I assure you, you were not the first person to get caught by that 😀.
I know now to always check photos in full screen 😆 at least me phones had a bit of a clear out anyway!
