I only got the Air 4 yesterday & have noticed this evening that it is very hot where the pencil sits(top side in landscape). I’m worried that this is a fault, never ha a problem with either of my previous iPads so it concerns me, please help

Is this while the Pencil is charging? If not, what exactly are you doing at this time? If you are doing something very processor intensive, such as gaming, watching a movie, or something like that, it would get warm, or even charging the battery. However, it should not get extremely hot. Are you seeing a problem with the battery discharging quickly?

I have same issue that my I Pad getting hot and I seeing a problem with the battery discharging quickly. what should I do?
