MacBook Air shutting down

Hi my MacBook Air keeps shutting down and then displaying the no power icon when I try and turn it on.. if I then put in the charger it turns on right away and was at 34% battery. I have checked the battery health and says it is normal. Have also updated the software.

Hi esme180,

If your MacBook Air was made before November 2020, try resetting the System Management Controller (SMC). It handles power-related functions and could be responsible for this issue.
