Auto Pause While Walking?

Is there any way to enable the auto pause feature while walking on my new Series 6 watch?

No,the autopause is for running only,to pause a walking workout,slide right on the screen and hit pause.

Tell watch not to pause I don't want my watch to pause automatically when I stop walking for a while. I just want to record how far I walk in a given day, and having to resume is annoying. Is there a way tell it not to do this? Turning off auto-pause seems to work only for cycling and running.

I think there is a way to have my watch automatically sense a pause in my walk . does anyone know how to set that up ? Can my series 5 watch automatically sense a pause in my outdoor walk and then sense when I am moving again ? If so how do I set that up ?
