Safari Browser Redirect

Hi,

Recently I have run into 2 instances where if I type a website URL it redirects me to an illegitimate page. I checked and didn't see any malware installed (Checked Applications, Launched Agents folder and checked plug-in for Safari) and after I clear the history if I type in the address again, it is then working as expected and take me to the correct web site.

My home page is not hijacked though. Today is the 2nd time it happened and this time I also cleared the cache from "Develop" menu.

Is there something else I should look for?

Thanks.

To make sure you have no malware/adware installed download and run the free version of Malwarebytes. It was developed by a long time contributor to these forums and a highly respected member of the computer security community.
