HomeKit Turn On Settings

HomeKit has the option to turn the lights on when you get home. Is it possible to have them do so but only if it’s within an hour or so of sunset? Basically, don’t want them to do so if it’s bright outside, as there’s no reason but would be cool to have if it’s dark out.

No. Choose “A time of day occurs” and choose sunset or choose a time - if you know sunset will be at 5:45 pm, then choose 4:45 pm or 6:45pm, if you prefer an hour after sunset.

Or just buy a non smart Dusk to Dawn light fixture. I use those and they don’t come on until it’s getting dark & go off in the morning once it’s it’s light out.
