iPhone 12 pro 256gb apple logo single flash upon restart

This has been reported a few times now; we don't know yet how it will be resolved by Apple, nor whether it's a hardware or software issue. As it's been flagged over the past week or so only, it might take a few more days to get an answer. I've flagged it with Apple Support and sent them links to half a dozen links on these forums that describe the same issue.

Out of curiosity, do you know the serial numbers of the problematic iPhones? Just the first two of three digits will help narrow down where these were produced, which could give a clue of where the error originated. All three iPhones that I returned started with F17.

I have had my new iPhone Pro Max for about two weeks now and experience the same thing at reboot. I contacted Apple support in Norway about this and the person I spoke to said that this is completely normal and that this is how it should be? I'm not quite sure about this and will follow this further.

I was talking to someone at the Apple Store today, and when I described the problem, he showed me that his own personal phone, which he picked up a week ago (12 Pro), was doing the same thing. As the phone is still working, he didn't look into it futher, but he didn't think it was normal either.

So for now, just waiting to see if there is eventually an official Apple response. Given that other iOS devices do not boot up this way, I'd also say this is not normal.

im worried about my new iphone 12 pro. When i turn it off then turn it on the apple logo flash for a second but it's off then i click again the power button then the apple logo appear and it's normaly opened.

This is not normal. I have many previous iphones and ipads and this flash start up does not occur. I purchased an iPhone 12 Pro Max last month and it does not have this flash problem. There is definitely something wrong.

Besides this flash problem, the phone works normal. It depends on your situation. If you just purchase the phone like me, you still have 14 days to return for a full refund. And you can wait until this issue is cleared up. If you are past the return policy, you still are in a good situation because you have one year limited warranty with Apple. Apple will give you a replacement phone if the phone does not power or if this flash problem will cause any other problem to your phone.

Yes, I have the same problem. I have the iPhone 12 Pro, I already exchanged once. Not sure if I am going to keep it. I still have 14 days to return.

So what should we do? Because it seems like my phone dont have a problem except from the flash problem.

Okay i only have a one year warranty in apple. I wish that it's only a bugs. And will disappear after have a new ios update. Because my phone works perfectly fine.
