Downloading Final Cut Pro Trial on Mojave OS

I have Mojave 10.14.6 but it still won't let me download the FinalCutPro Trial - it says I need 10.15.6 or later. Then I went to download Catalina and it says I need 10.15.5 to get that...what are my options?

You were attempting to use an updater and not the full version upgrade of Catalina per Dialabrain's link. You might consider running the free Go64 application on Mojave to see if there are 32-bit applications that cannot run on Catalina — before you upgrade.

It might also be worthwhile to verify if your printer/scanner vendor has compatible drivers for Catalina, or if your printer is supported by the built-in AirPrint driver.
