Window too small when saving files in Big Sur

When saving a file in any Mac program the window is so small I cannot see my side panel info - see image 1.

Is there a way of securing a larger size permanently - see image 2, so I do no have to keep tediously stretching every time I save a file.

It was fine in Catalina and I know some of you will say to make my side panel titles with less characters, but it does not even show the default Macintosh HD in full.

You will have to continue manually resizing these open and save panels until Apple issues a Big Sur update to fix it. There is an error in the framework (library) that controls these application panels starting with the release of macOS 11.1, and there is nothing you can do to fix it.
