Apple Watch Series 0 stuck in boot loop

Now, what I suspect is the battery is dead. Like dead-dead, was sitting without charging for like months.

I put it on the charger. It shows the Apple logo, blink, power off. Apple logo, fades out, all that stuff, blah blah. Just doesn't boot to the lock screen (I don't remember if there was one)

Do I just leave the thing overnight or pay extra 40$ for a new SE watch (if the series 0 still being serviced)?

Sounds like the battery's had it,that watch will only upadate to WatchOS4 which is a mile behind everything else.

And to pair with a newish phone is very difficult if not nearly impossible.

If I were you I would bite the bullet and go for that SE you mentioned.
