Hello. Even after the Big Sur update I am still not able to mirror to my external display on my 2017 iMac. Any suggestions?

Hi RJTreef,

What external display are you trying to use?

Have you tried reading this article, Get help with video issues on external displays connected to your Mac - Apple Support?

Also, try resetting:

Thank you Jack.

Apple was able to resolve it. Not sure when it happened. They reloaded Big Sur, did safe mode and unplugged the monitor. It was during the Data Capture when I was asked to unplugged three times that after the third time the monitor worked.

We restarted computer but the monitor was jumping with lines so we did the reset of the monitor (Option, Command, P,R) which resolved that issue.

The monitor is a Samsung S27E310 with a lightning USB connection.
