Can’t print photos

I have an old and a new iPad both set up by WiFi to print to a canon MG3605S.

the old iPad will print anything but the new will print but not photos from my library. All printer does is to push out blank page.

I assume something needs resetting in new iPad ? Can anyone advise

Have you tried to:

disconnect and turn off all devices from your modem-router
turn off your modem router, wait at least 1-2 minutes, turn it back on and wait for it's complete autoconfiguration
turn your printer back on and wait for its connection
turn your devices back on and connect them to your wifi network?
