I had previously an HP-printer that could print photos taken with an iPhone directly from the picture katalog, This Printer unfortunately died, an I bought a Canon TS9500, a very fancy but complicated machine. Printing photos directly from the picture catalog in the iPhone took over one hour. That´s why I asked the question.
Now by exporting from the picture catalog to my mail account changed the picture format to .jpg , which made it possible to print an A4 size photo in just over a minute. I am very pleased!
