the user of this phone has passed away and no access to his home computer, what is the procedure to reset to factory settings

oh and it is disabled as someone tried to guess the password

actually do not require any info from the phone, just want to set back to factory default.

If it’s Activation Locked, the iPhone would be useless without the original owner’s Apple ID and password. They would be required to unlock the iPhone.
