My husband created a shared album, shared it with me, and yet the titles do not appear in it. They are properly entered in Photos, i.e., as titles rather than captions or in description. What could the problem be? He uses an iMac and I, a MacBook Pro.

Shared albums do not show any of the metadata - including titles. They are not much use except as a simple way of showing images.
