I can't activate my free year of Apple TV+

I have a new MacBook Air. It is less than three months since I activated it. I have signed into the Apple TV app, on my computer, several times. I have also -- several times -- gone to the main page of one of the Apple TV+ shows. But I never, ever, ever see the prompt that says: Get Apple TV+ free for one year - Apple.

What I DO see, is a button that says, "Start your one week free trial." But that is not what I want. I want to get the free YEAR of Apple TV+, that I am entitled to.

Can somebody please help!
