Yes, you can do this. Here is how:

In Voice Memos on the iMac, drag out the song you want to be on a CD, and put it on the desktop. (Drag from the left sidebar to the desktop.)
Open the Music app.
Select File > Import. Select the dragged song/audio.
Import it.
