Macbook Pro (Nov 2020) software update.

I have Macbook Pro (Nov 2020). I tried the procedure above to update Big Sur, but after finishing the download (~4GB) I got an error message: "An error occurred while downloading the selected updates. Please check you internet connection." I tried downloading dozens of times and at different times of day. Still no luck.

Can anybody help me?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 11.1

Hi,

Try to contact Apple Support to tell them about the circumstance you face with now.

If it doesn't help, you'd better make Genius Bar reservation if your neighborhood retail Apple Store is open or find near you opened Apple Authorized Service Provider to install update there. It's free.
