The current version of GarageBand requires macOS 11.0 or later. If you have ever downloaded GarageBand under your current Apple ID, open the App Store and look in "Purchased". If you have, you can download a compatible version from there. Otherwise, you would need to upgrade to Big Sur if you can or purchase a newer Mac.
