iCloud log in

My son forgot his old iCloud information to log in to his device. He doesn’t remember ever using the email address listed. Any ideas to figure it out?

If the Apple ID account that is yet not signed in the existing iPhone , but he doesn't remember the Apple ID address ( ask the mail address that he used to send to his colleagues / friends ) , if the account was set up with two factor authentication recover from server ( Apple ID address is required ) How to use account recovery when you can’t reset your Apple ID password - Apple Support

If the account was set up with secondary authentication in which three answers for respective questions , date of birth , rescue mail address and its password are added , if you have zero credentials to sign in and no Apple ID address then this account can't never be accessed , even you contact apple support senior care advisors Contact Apple for support and service - Apple Support , they don't keep account holder credentials .

Perhaps , you can create a new Apple ID How to create a new Apple ID - Apple Support on the new device and sign in Sign in with your Apple ID - Apple Support with new credentials .
