iCould Photos can be shared directly, just by allowing that in Settings.

iCould Photos can be viewed in the Photos app on Apple TV.


Home Sharing photos need to be set up in iTunes (Mojave or earlier, PC), or System Preferences (Catalina or later).

  • Using iTunes: Open iTunes. In the menu bar, go to File﹥Home Sharing, then select Choose Photos to Share with Apple TV.
  • Using current Macs: Choose Apple menu ﹥System Preferences. Click Sharing. Click Media Sharing, then select Share Photos with Apple TV.

Home Sharing photos can be viewed in the Computers app on Apple TV.
