mac air m1 does not boot properly after an update, screen freezes

after ever update of Big Sur my MacBook air it does not restart up properly and the screen freezes.

Perhaps if you read & try Safe mode use on startup,

that may be of help in overall system performance.

(There are instructions to cover both Mac hardware versions.

Newest M1 Apple silicon system-on-chip & Intel-based Macs.)
