looking to purchase the new Imac Pro, and I was wondering if you can use a second monitor with this?

"..Use different Thunderbolt buses when possible (see the figure). Don't

connect more than two displays to any bus. If you connect a 5K or

MST 4K display, you need to use a different bus for each of these displays."

"..On your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Preferences, click Displays, then

click Display. Set both displays to the same resolution. Click Arrangement,

then select Mirror Displays. Set up some displays for mirroring and others

for an extended desktop."


The first article would likely produce better a match.
