Is the Magic Keyboard usable while it is charging? And if so, when the battery is completely discharged, is the keyboard usable immediately upon plugging in, or is there a minimum charge it must reach before it can be used?

It works as a wired USB keyboard while it is charging (I sometimes connect it to the Lightning cable when I have to use some poorly shielded USB devices that block Bluetooth). I wish my old Magic Mouse could act the the same.

I would assume it works fine while charging and as with all modern rechargeable batteries fully discharge them damage the battery Batteries - Maximizing Performance - Apple
