Apple Watch 6 - Fall Detection Feature

Is it possible to test the fall detection feature on Apple Watch 6? I tripped and took a fall flat on my face. I was stunned for a bit but was able to get up rather quickly (less than a minute I’d say) without injury, just a small scratch on my hand. There was no signal of that fall from my watch. Could fall detection not be functioning properly? All settings are set properly. BTW I’m 76. Would be nice if this feature worked!!!

First see the "When are falls recorded" section in this article:

Use fall detection with Apple Watch - Apple Support

Then make sure you followed all the steps in the "Turn fall detection on or off" same article.
