Adding this Number:

Add your new number, as a trusted device. Then - if applicable - delete the current number.

1. Go Here: Security - Manage Your Apple ID - Apple
2. Tap: Add a Trusted Phone Number…
3. Enter: The Phone Number
4. Select: Text Message (Default)
5. Proceed from there as Necessary
