Subscription

I canceled free subscription prior to deadline, however, I was still charged. I’ve received refund. My Wuestion: how do I avoid in future?

Make sure you cancel it more than 24 hours before it set to renew, otherwise as Apple advises, it may still charge you. See here: link-> How to cancel a subscription from Apple - Apple Support


Most free trials for 3rd party apps, once cancelled, will continue until they are set to renew, at which point they will expire.
