Bottom left speaker (iPhone 12)

This question has been asked before, but to confirm, the bottom left speaker of the iPhone 12 isn’t a speaker, and no sound should come out of it? What’s the purpose of it being there then?

Correct, at the bottom of the iPhone, there is one speaker, one microphone.
