Can my iPhone be compromised?

My bank account was stolen and my bank wants me to ask Apple if my phone was hacked. Is there any way for Apple to know this. This is the first time my bank ever told me to ask my phone company to ask if my phone was hacked. Who do I contact? Do I need to go to the Apple store?

iPhone 6, iOS 12

It would be more a question of if your Apple ID was compromised, not the device itself. I don't think Apple monitors for that, though they can disable an account if they see suspicious activity.

Contact Apple for help with Apple ID account security - https://support.apple.com/HT204169 "This article provides country-specific Apple Support contact information for customers seeking help with their Apple ID password or other security-related issues." Better for directly reporting an issue.

I’m sorry to hear all that. It also sound odd to me that your bank asked that, but maybe something to look into.

There’s your phone being “hacked” and your Apple ID being compromised which are two different things happening so I’d keep that in mind. In the end, I would just contact Apple Support and see what they have to say. You can contact Apple Support by phone, chat, or Apple Support app. I wouldn’t bother going into an Apple Store unless Apple Support advises you to.
