Safari hijacked by yahoo search

How do I remove yahoo search engine as quick-search engine when it has been inserted through some hijacking means, rather than through the standard browser search settings? And how do I do it MYSELF, QUICKLY, without paying for or using an adware cleaning program?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.15
